Original 914 leather wrapped wheel.

Appropriate type of wheel for a '69 '70 '71 914 or a 914-6 car. Will fit any year 914.
Later years a plastic covered wheel was issued with a "leather look" but it was plastic...

This wheel has the countersunk holes, which I have read is for the 914-6 cancel ring, only found on early wheels.
Not included is the brass horn contact and directional cancelation ring although these are very often found right here in the classified section.

Bat-wing part # 901. 613.805.0

OEM Wheel part number: # 914 347 805 10 71 3 "vdm" ( in triangle ) On verso: the number #75 is stamped.
The " 71 3 " signifies March 1971 as the build-date.

Diameter is 380mm or 15"

Leather needs to be re-done, there are people who do this professionally or you can d.i.y. if you are handy.
