I recently bought a '74 1.8 and the shocks on all 4 corners are shot. The car is in good shape with only 55k miles from new, and I would like to keep it relatively stock. It is my understanding from reading old threads on this forum that the factory would have fit my car with Boge inserts. I see that Pelican lists Boge/Sachs strut inserts, but then also says "Brand: Sachs":
http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/ksearc...=914-341-903-00 PMB shows Boge strut inserts and doesn't say anything about Sachs: http://www.pmbperformance.com/catalog/item...565/1478623.htm Are these strut inserts the same? If not, which one would be the correct replacement for original in my car? Andrew |
