Found this loose wire underneath the dash. Travels under stearing colum and dissapears by the front trunk release. I havent checked for voltage but it looks like it would. 16-18 gauge wire with stock spade connectors Its on a '73

P.s. Its not the wire that goes to the speaker. That one is already accounted for

It looks like a speaker wire. Does not look factory.

I just found one in the new project that went to a light switch for the rear trunk. Is there a light that's not working when you open the front trunk??

NO front trunk light on 914's. Rear trunk light works only when lights are on and is part of the wiring harness.
