They go on the end of the tie rod where it screws into the rack.

Hey Will,

Which tie rod kit did you get?
You'd do a great many of us a great service if you could document the entire process. I'd buy you a beer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) or two (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

They look like this?

(IMG:http://oxblue.com/bm/bump.jpg)

If so, they go in between the rack and the body.

EDIT: sorry, maybe not. I was thinking about the bump steer kit. If they came w/the tie rods, they probably go on the tie rods:

Ok, over turn washers make sense

This will all be part on progress thread. I would love to contribute a piece for the team.

Tie rods is one.

Drilling for swaybar is one too!

BTW - have bump steer kit on order too. (only item that has not come)

nope, that's a bump-steer kit ...

he's talking about the spacers that go between the steering rack and the tie-rods (when you install turbo tie rods) ...

Mine went in the "big effin' washer " storage bin.

They are to keep the threaded end of the tierod from bottoming out in the rack. Apparently some need them & some don't.
