Anyone know the weight of a stock 914 front hub/rotor and caliper?

Rotor with bearings is about 15lbs.
Bare strut (no insert) is about 14lbs.
Caliper is about 7lbs.

Add in misc pieces (dust shield, pads, strut insert, etc) and you're probably up around 50-55lbs not including the A-arm.

I've been collecting parts to convert to 5 stud. My 911 rotors, Brembo calipers and hubs weight about 20.6 lbs together, so I guess they would be a tad lighter, assuming the struts weigh about the same.

So the advantages I see are:

1 - A little lighter
2 - Bigger brake
3 - Easier to change wheels with studs rather than lug bolts.

What else am I not considering?

I used Eric's aluminum Brembo AM calipers for my 5 lug. It's about 2.25 lbs lighter than a stock 914 caliper.

Better choice of wheels?
You maybe going from pinch bolt struts to wedge pin struts, which is an improvement.
The wheel bearing are a bit bigger.
