well so I have dug around in the longs and the hellhole and my body guy and myself feel to make her perfect its gonna be 12k including all welding and beautiful paint. you can see photos if you check my other posts. she is a very original un-tampered with 73 2.0 so seems a great donor BUT they guy on ebay 'porsche-doctor' ripped me off on her at 7500. SO not sure to go ahead and bite the bullet OR try to sell her to someone who needs a complete, original, excellent driving 73 for a big loss maybe i can get 3500?

Bill makes a good point about continuing with repairs, (and yes, I saw where your guy backed out). From Bills point of view; if this is a car that you love what would it cost in today's $$ to buy something close to it. 20K would be a steal. Plus knowing that the rust bug was put to sleep and you now have a nice car. My 2 cents; get a roller and transfer over you newly purchased bling along with the desirable parts from old Rusty. I saw one between Homeland and Hemet that appeared very nice in the jack points as well as other places I could see. Couldn't disassemble it on the side of the road. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) His $ was 3500.00 but I bet you could get chisel him down to 2k or less. Point is that you can pick up a nice roller in SoCal and transfer your goodies to it in a few weekends. BTW, the seller isn't a member here, is he?
