Again, we determined at the time that every rack housing is a bit different in size.
So the outer diameter of each bushing would be unique to that rack housing.

We talked about making a kit, but its not easy if you dont have some sort of adjustable spacer.

The rack bar itself seems to be very consistant, and you can measure that without removing the rack assembly from the car.

I still believe the best bet for you is to find a used steering rack, then rebuild that one in your spare time.

Thanks!

The bushings are type of "splined" on the outside, could be to take up minor differences in tube diameter?
