Getting ready to put my motor back together and my son bought me one of the heavy duty oil pumps from Pelican. Should I use it? Is it worth having it or should I keep the original and use the money for something else? Thanks.

I had one of those for my 2270, I had to do some machining on it to get my cam bolts to clear it. I really didnt notice that much difference but it must do something, right?
