Great for you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
I have been to NASCAR, F1, CART (Champcar) (Daytona 500, Indy 500, Michigan 500+++) and lots of small time races in my life.
The best by far have been the ones I raced in. (small time stock car racing) but the second best were the Champ Cars.
Molson Indy in Toronto being the best with Michigan being the second best.
I will never attend an IRL race or even watch them on TV. I would rather watch paint dry or cat puke solidify on the floor before I will support Tony G's break wawy series. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/finger.gif) :finger2:

Go to the race this summer and enjoy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Have a beer on me too.

I live in Long Beach and have been going to
the Champ Car series Long Beach Grand Prix
for over 10 years! I love it! (I even got skline and Joe Buckle to
go with us this year!)
We get to meet a lot of the drivers on the Friday before
and other pre race events, and they are just
the nicest guys!
I have been following Jimmy Vasser, PKV racing, for a long time, he is a very cool guy!
The event is so nice for our city, and I can't wait to come up to
San Jose for the race there! I have always wanted to go to one at Laguna Seca....someday.

Thanks for the news...GREAT! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap56.gif)
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) for CART!

PS (IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) about IRL That sucks!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember Long Beach when I live in SoCal. Tracks are great but there's something wicked about racing on city streets. San Jose has come a long way from lowrider cruising on Santa Clara street. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It's probably a way to showcase the $100 million or so our "poor" city has spent on the new city hall. : <_<

Published figures quadruple that amount...its probably 6 times that in reality...We will only be told the real number on about 6-10 years...

If the SoCal contingent of the 914Club is coming to town, we oughtta plan a pre-Champ or post-Champ 914 gathering...Anyone up to putting that together?

I like anything that isn't a straight line, or an oval. Won't go to any dragstrip or roudy-rounders. I don't think of something that only goes in a straight line, of turn left, as a car. They're just a specialized joke to me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)
