Found a closed runway we can use at the dalles, minimal cost, but we would have to bring our own cones.
Anyone? |

Site owner will want you to provide insurance for HIS liability. You can time it old school with a stopwatch... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)

Actually the site owner is the State of Washington, and all we need is insurance on our vehicle.
There will be a release of liability for those involved. Thinking Sunday AM about 10:30 - 2:30ish. It seems to fit in the schedule best. I'm just waiting to hear. |

I want to conduct that like any other A/X event, with helmets - if it happens.
So far no cones I will also need some help getting this set up. If it goes. |

Cones are about $2.50 each in low quantity. I once put on an autocross in a small lot with only 21 cones. Two parallel sloloms with a cone at the far end they had to go around. Everyone had a great time.
Why do I suddenly see 914Rubber producing autocross cones? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) |

Let me know if the site location looks like a go. I'd be willing to buy the cones to make it happen.
I might also be able to build an Arduino based timer using garage door safety triggers. |

I'm with Nate on absolutely under no circumstances allowing Greenie any access to the timing equipment! That would be bad....

Is this going to happen? Should I pack my helmet? Do you need anything that a newbie might be able to help with?

Still trying to get the final approval, and I have to get a port a potty as part of the deal. I'll know more tomorrow.
