Well, I completed prepping the rear trunk for painting.

Here's the pic after removing the seam sealer and the start of the day.

Here's another pic. The gray areas is AllMetal that I used to cover the minor rust converted areas.

You did all that with a wire brush? Man that seam sealer gets everywhere when you brush it out. I just did about 2 feet of it and it was all over.

How come your trunk is different than mine?

Good job Rob. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Thanks Paul. If you ever decide to actually keep the metal in your car, call me and I can show you how to 'restore' it.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

BTW, you have moved from a f/g animal, to a tube-frame animal, good luck with the 'diet'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)

Headrage, I used a wire-wheel to remove the seam-sealer (BTW, it creates 'strings' and goes everywhere), then used aircraft stripper to remove the rest of the paint.

i love productive weekends...of course this weekend i had to work on the "other" car to get it going which included a clutch master and welding the exhaust up in a spot where it cracked...good to have things done though.
