Maybe you could look at some
sheer type coverings.
They let the light in and you can see
out, but no one can see in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

i would most likely do indoor shutters. they can be opened just a little or a lot, and if you keep them short enough you can see over em

Plantition shutters are designed to let the light in, but keep the peepers out. Good product.

one way glass?

I don't think there is anything made which will allow you to see out clearly and nobody see in. you can get solar shades. I have them and they're pretty nice and simple, lots of colors and various levels of light transmission. people from the outside can see
shadows, but no real details.

I can't remember what brand I have, but they are like this..

You could split the shutters half way up the window. You can open the upper section and see the Isalnds, and leave the lower section closed.
Or if you went with the Hunter-Douglas type pleated shades, they open from the top down, so you open them half way down the window.

Mike I tried Cath. City, answer"not here' hangup.

Why don't you get a big see-thru graphic of your ass to shield that side of the house?

You know, the stuff they make the advertising cars out of..

I like the split shade idea. Go outside and look up to the room and see just how high they need to be.

You might be surprised when you find out that you have to be in just the right place, at just the right time of day, to actually see in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool_shades.gif)

Some people would have to be on scaffolding with a scope to see in...it's the thought of "what if" that troubles us. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Seems like Miles is getting bashfull.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Oooppssie....wrong BBS....the wifey....seems to be a bit miffed on the neighbors looking in.....yeah...that's it....it's the wife.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif)

The window tint dosen't work. At night if you have a light on, those outside can see in like the tint isn't there.

There is photo ionised glass. It turns cloudy when the power is turned on and is clear when off, but I imagine it's big $$.

Get some nice vertical blinds.......

Did you see that show a while back?
It was the top ten public restrooms or something...

This ice cream shop has a glass wall and door that allows you to see into the restroom from the store.

When you get inside you flip the switch and the glass goes to a grey that you cannot see through.

Some people didn't get it, and just dealt with the dining room audience. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

I think if the power goes out... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)
