All the threads I read about removing the heater controls - make me stop and think that I don't really want to go there. The cables are connected and work just fine.
However, I would like to remove the face plate and the three control knobs and I'm stumped. I thought I read somewhere that the face plate can come off without removing the whole assembly??? Thanks, Len |

I thought I read somewhere that the face plate can come off without removing the whole assembly??? Nope. The rubber knobs come off, but in order to get to the faceplate, you have to take out the whole assembly. Btw. the same is true for the chrome trim around the face plate. Learned that the hard way.
