Posting for another club member, he has a 1975 1.8 factory injection that won't idle on its own, not until its warmed up will it idle properly. (rev the motor by stepping on the gas to warm it up). checked the usual culprits, all hose connections are tight. oil filler cap O ring checked. oil filler cork gasket. Here's where it started, everything running perfect before motor and tranny drop, to repair the tranny. Re-installed motor/tranny and kinda bent one of the injectors (on the metal end). Caught the error, but bent the metal on the lone injector. Still using the injector now. Got the motor and tranny installed, but now the engine just won't warm by itself up to get to operating temp. No issues prior to the motor drop, now it doesn't want to idle. any other ideas? He knows he jostled something, but want to know if anyone out there got the same problem. I used to have a Ljet and know how vacuum sensitive those 1.8 motors are.

After checking the AAR, let the car warm up so it idles by itself. Then pull off a injector lead, does the RPM change? Do that for each injector.
