Gonna buy a 914 in a year or so. Looking for Teener owners that live in or near Nashville Tennessee.

Mike Cooley, 914-er extraordinaire is in Memphis
He's here, so I'm sure he'll chime in shortly.

Like John (Stock93), and Brett (who I haven't met yet- hey Brett, wanna have a beer sometime?), I'm in Huntsville too. Weird, huh. I'm sure Nashville has 914 owners.

I'm in west TN about 90 miles from Nashville. Keep on the lookout for posts about a TN get together. I'm going to try and do one in the spring.

I usually have a 914 for sale. Let me know what you are looking for......

let's see a '73 2.0 with 45k original miles, two owner car for $3500.....

we are all looking for that one!

Let me know!

I live in the southeast corner of Nashville. I am always looking to meet other 914 owners around here.

Perry-
Thats a great idea! I think we should meet for a cruise on the Nachez Trace Highway. It is beautiful (but speed limited). We could meet at Tishamingo State Park (see Matt, Mississippi IS a state) or north of there closer to Nashville, and cruise down toward Tupelo. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mueba.gif)

I don't want a '73, but I can't turn that down..

I emailed you $3,500.00, please upload the car to a secure server.

Great to hear about all you guys so close. I thought I was living in a 914 black hole here in Middle Tennessee. It seems like all the cars are either in Kaliphornya, Florida, or the north east. Who woulda thunk that Huntsville is such a mecca. Thats pretty close to me.

Don, I live in south Nashville too. I have seen and heard a yellow one a couple of times near the library on Concord road. Is that you? Nice car.

In the Process of saving my moola(read, covincing my wife) and organizing my garage to accept the cool 914 I want to put in it. Perhaps by next summer I will have it all worked out. That 73,2.0 is what I am looking for. I will settle for more miles and a rebuilt engine though. I am not too picky. A 6 would be better but a little out of my budget.

Drop me a note if you wanna show off your car. or want some free labor / help working on it. Would love that. I am anxious to learn all about this car before I buy one.

Not me, but I live near there. My house is near where Concord Road ends on Nolensville Road. I haven't seen the yellow 914 around there, but I did see a bumblebee car around. I talked with the guy for a while when i caught up with him. Real nice guy. He sold the car last year for about seven grand.
My 914 is a 1974 converted to a 2.7 six. It has factory flares and is painted guards red. Its hard to miss (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif). There are a few pics of it (and a couple of videos) on my friends web page at http://www.sawyersmotorsports.com/914page.html

Go draw a camshaft or something. I am trying to read and I keep laughing and spitting on my monitor.

Sorry Scott, I thought you were Scott Millhouse. You have the White 2.0 car and used to live up on Monte Sano?

Check in with Don Ramsey in Knoxville. He's a 914er from way back and usually has several cars available. Air Cooled Classics is his Biz name in town. He owns at least 5 914 LE cars....at last count.
