I have an idea to use one on the passenger side since I hardly have passengers with me. Like the inside of a 917, passenger seat is tiny..kind of like that but useable. I think I've seen simple fiberglass seat shells at a volkswagen shop many, many years ago. I can't find any closeups of the ones from early protype racers anywhere. Anyone know about them or have an idea to contribute, I'm all ears.
