Hi,

as I have learned there are two different dash boards available for the 914. The only difference seems to be the measurement for the glove box, right? What are the different measures of the glove box "cut out"?

Another difference is the lack of side vents in the early dash and some early ones have different defroster outlets.

Make that 3 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

6 ones are different to. For the key location...

Can't say I've seen a 72 6 cyl and speak for that one

1970 had no center defroster on the dash

Hi,

many thanks for the answers, but maybe my question was not exact enough. I was asking for the dash board top only. I do have a 914/6 1970 which came with a very nice dash top, but unfortunately it has two additional holes :-( So I would like to find an exact dash top to replace the one I do have. The one which came with my /6 has a 34cm cut out for the glove box. So my question, what is the difference of a 914/6 1970 dash to the later version?

Attached some pics of the dash which come with my /6.
