Just curious, that all.

Saw a newer 911 Turbo at the dragstrip Saturday, running 12-second 1/4-mile times and people were saying it was a Tiptronic (I never saw it up close). With the performance it was producing, I figure the trans should be pretty stout...

BUT, can they (thinking 911-style) be converted to mid-engine setup? Similar to the 915/930 (flip ring gear and carrier)? I am thinking for a Chevy V8 swap, maybe...

I know just about anything can be done for a price, but wonder IF its possible for around the range of a 915 or 930 swap???

Computer controlled? Any stand-alone controllers available?
