so at what rpm does the turbo kick in?
what mm jugs you got? how much boost you plan on running? I assume 914 jugs can only take so much B. forged pistons? h rods? what octane will it need? she will need an oil cooler for sure? ** never mind, i see the fan that is cooling stock oil cooler, nice placement : ) all the best, she looks lovely : ) jim |

Looks like it will kick ass!
Way to go. But a flat fan and a remote (no stock) oil cooler would have been cooler, I'm just sayin'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

So is that a 2270 TURBOED Raby engine per your signature line...? This is getting out of hand people...might as well not even say "the phrase" any more.
Looks awesome. Love the upright fan shroud. |

Does that fit in the engine bay? It looks so tall! The exhaust come off the turbo and routes how...right by the battery or does the battery get moved?

Tested that already. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Needs a GT lid, but it works.

seems like tig is a must for fabbing exhaust. It is not absolutely necessary. I once built a headers that came out pretty nice with a MIG. That said, I've done a few more with a TIG which were much nicer. If you are very good with a MIG and have never used a TIG the MIG exhaust will probably look better! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) The turbo install looks pretty nice! I'm interested to see it running. |
