I've got a good distributor for a 74-76 914 2.0 for sale.

It looks to be in nice shape and has a relatively new condenser, rotor and cap.

Bosch part # is 0 231 174 011
VW# 039 905 205 A

Looking for $65 shipped to US or Canada

Thanks
Andrew M

can you post a few pictures?
- by good, do you mean it was in a car, recently and the car ran smooth?
I ask this because i bought one that was supposed to be "good", but put it in the car and it ran like crap, actually needed to be rebuilt, so i think this is a legitimate question.
- bottom line, i am interested.-

Hi -I'll get some pictures up tomorrow afternoon / evening - I'm away right now, but get back tomorrow.

The distributor ran fine recently and worked fine - the engine was being converted to carbs for track use hence the removal.

Regards,
Andrew M

Phil,
What goes out most often is the vacuum pot.
A bad condenser can make the engine run bad too.

True, and so I tested and checked/replaced those items first. I heard you rebuild them, I might send it over for you to give it a checking out if you do
Phil
Andrew, didn't mean to high jack your add. If mine is checked and not worth saving I will be interested

Andrew,
I would like to buy the distributor. Please send me your mailing address. My '76 2.0L needs a working distributor.
