Calipers hitting dust sheild. Tell me if I assembled something backwards

They look backwards to me.

The curled lip on the dust shield should go around the disk, no?

Did you mean to say the dust shield is hitting the disks? I don't see the caliper in the 2nd photo.

Looks like you are using S calipers , are the shields from a 911 ,that used S calipers ?? I believe M calipers are smaller , may have to trim being they are already ( shields ) mounted , or remove and modify or get correct shields.

Thanks guys, shields not for S calipers. Took them off and got the calipers on with the lines
