When installing the CB performance rotary fuel pump, do you normally leave the flying saucer looking fuel pressure regulator in line after it or remove it?

Everything I've seen in the weber book says 2.5 psi, but the CBperformance pump is 3.5 psi.

Then again people say this is the pump to use and it seemed like they meant without the FPR.

Thanks!!

Andy

Supposedly at 5 psig, you will overide the needle valve and flood the carburetor.

A fuel pressure regulator may not be necessary, but you have it so use it. Cheap insurance.

I've been using a CB Performance pump for 10 years without a pressure regulator. Works great. I have 44 idf carbs, maybe that will make a difference.

I have a 2.0 with 40 idf carbs and no regulator. Never had a problem.

It's internally regulated so you don't need that flaky chrome regulator, making the slightly more expensive CB pump actually less expensive than the nasty noisy Facet. You're good to go.
