Need to drop the front valance panel on my 1970 914. How do you get the the bolts in the middle?

Take the bumper off! Two bolts in each fender!

Bolts in the middle are screws aren't they? Should be able to get them through the recess in the valence.

If the bumper hasn't been off in a while, prepare to break bolts. I ended up putting heli-coils in mine.

Or take off the grills and try to get some pen. oil on them. Not sure if that's a possibility.
