Is this the right order for the MPS assembly? Does the "keyhole" orientation on the metal plate matter? Is any grease or sealant recommended? Is there any areas I should spray with contact cleaner since I have the unit open?

You can rotate the plate in any direction. It makes no difference.
A sealant is recommended. Something that won't make future replacement too difficult.
Send me an email and I'll forward a copy of the instructions I created sometime after the group buy was completed.
