I'm struggling to install my new motor back in my car. I have reviewed McMarks engine removal below as well as the Pelican article
http://914world.com/specs/tech_engdrop3.php My engine tin is hanging up on the rear control arm nuts. I will post a photo here in a minute Thanks David |

You just have to wobble the engine a little side to side.

It helps if you slip a piece of tin along each side between the car and engine shelf. Especially when working alone.

Is it in? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) Dave, there are many of us within a half hour drive that sure can come over and give you a hand putting the motor in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/givemebeer.gif) Just let us know Nothing is worse than getting a hand stuck or slipping the motor off of the floor jack Keith |

The starter will get in the way of the axles. You just have to be patient and do let it frustrate you.
