Watching a quick documentary about Wilt on ESPN. At 7:05 they show him sitting in the driver seat of a green 914. Apparently he was a car nut. Check it out...Wilt ESPN

My questions is...who has Wilts's 914?

Back in the early '80s Wilt was driving a white Lambo Countach to the Mid-Valley Athletic Club in LA. Nice man. His car always looked like it needed a wash, though!

Ok, so apparently this was footage from a 1970 celebrity 914 "race".

Still funny to see his head over the top of the windshield.

Yup... sadly, all destroyed. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

No VIN's lurking that I'm aware of.

David. You are getting confused with the RRC thread in the Garage where everyone was talking about Eric and the word 'wilted' kept coming up . . . a lot.

This Wilt is different.

No, the word people use the most around Eric is "flaccid". There is some relationship with Wilt. Perhaps he was mentioned in Wilt's book? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)
