I'm trying to determine what type of carpet my car had. It's a '74 with appearance group. It currently has two types of carpet. Some pieces are charcoal and look like a loop of some sort. The majority of the carpet though is charcoal and is definitely a large loop style. I want to get new carpet, but not sure what would've come in the car originally.

I am pretty sure an appearance group car would have "cut pile" carpet, sometimes called "square weave". The basic model had "perlon loop".
