Everything is stock. Re-connected my shift linkage bar that runs from the firewall to the side shift transmission with all new bushings. After seeing a few pics of the front connection at the firewall, I realized my front connection is out by 180 degrees (the cone screw is on the top instead of the bottom).

I looked at the joint up front and it didn't appear to be offset.

My question is, will having the front connection installed with the cone screw on the top cause me any problems or throw the shifting bar out of alignment?

Thanks!

Bob
