Pulled around the corner and suddenly the front end in making this booooaaap, booooaaap, sound as the wheels turn.

Jacked the car up; spun the wheels, no sound.Removed both wheels, twisted the steeling stuff, no sound.

Noticed the pass side drop link from Weltmeister sway bar was at a slight angle. Twisted it with vice grip.

Put the wheels back on; drove around the block; No boooaaap-yet. Is there anything about the linkage from the sway bar to the A-arm than can go wrong ?

Follow up: Seems like the Booooaaaap came back Sunday for a last time-then the speedometer stopped working and Boooaaap went away.

Seems like the sppedo cable was winding or kinked and was striking metal.

Anyone had this happen ? I've driven this car since 1982 and never had that happen.
