I installed a Saphire X! today and after looking at the face plate it seemed too black. Would painting the face plate help ? Any other suggestions... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

maybe if you have any more of the dash face material left, glue it on the flat section (insert) of the faceplate, leaving the black rim around the outside edge and the black rim around the radio face/knob area.
