I had a customer ask me about replacing an older style seal with mine, as some of you know a few of the OEM seals had the small chrome side peices molded into the seal. While rare, I've come across a few. Has anyone out there gone through the steps to make this modification and would be willing to share?
I know CSOB Dave has done one, seems to me that all that would be needed is to demel off the strips where they goes into the old seal and bolt it to the new one. Tanks. |
