First a little before info...
I've had my car for 3.5 years. it came with this "beauty" bar. the body shop I go to suggests that a previous owner likely used it for parking purposes. ie: it's been tapped and put a couple dents in the bumper where the bar attaches. I've always wanted to swap it out, but have been dealing with the mechanicals first. here's a pic at the start of today...  Garold listed a nice bumper a week or so ago and I jumped on it. Of course, a nice new bumper shouldn't have a rotting old pad on it, so I hit up Mikey for a new one. A little bit of garage time today and...  I'll get the valance cleaned up this winter. it didn't stand out so much before! |
