This car could be my new project. 8 days left in the auction, I really want this car. So if anyone else bids on it. I will be looking you up. JK, I am hoping to win this car for my next project. Interesting picture of the front trunk, can anyone tell me what this is? It looks like an electric motor with a flywheel attached to it like the guy was going to do an electric conversion on it. Wish me luck on this. something about that car I really like. I hope I win it.

I want this car so I can build a totally stock driver. The Chalon will be the only V8 car and the only one with modifications. This one will be restored to all stock. Its pretty much stock now and I really like the look of it. Just a nice repaint and convert to side shift and rebuild the 1.7 in it and drive it.

I am going to guess one of the middle east countries. Say it like he writes it and I bet I am pretty close.

Good luck Scott, keep in mind if it hasn't been reg. since 88 did they non-op? My cali ebay purchase had about $300+ back fees. I got around by using a title service place but I don't live in Cali.
Looks like a nice project. |

Since it has not been registered since 88, it would be off the computers. There should be no fees in California from the DMV for back registration. I will just have to apply for a new title. I may have to have the car inspected and stuff but that is about it. I have done it before.

I agree Scott, that car looks like a fairly unmolested original tangerine car. If it's not rusty it won't be hard to bring back. If you want it you should go to snipeswipe.com and use their free one-time offer (or subscribe) and enter the highest amount you're willing to pay. Then sit back and watch. Even if you don't do that, don't bid any more until the very end. You will just be bidding yourself up.

Whoo, if you get it I'll take the motor! (it's a GE series wound DC motor) I may even give you some money for it, or trade a few parts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
