Has anyone installed a system like this found on the cd performance site (http://www.cbperformance.com/ultracomp.asp). They are claiming at least 25hp increase. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Looks like a pretty neat and simple system to me. Never used it though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

as just pure bolt-on to a stock motor?
nope....if they are claiming that, then thier target customer also buys those special pills that can make their pecker 4" longer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

a fellow 914 member had that setup, they work, but you are limited to the adjustments you can make to them....they are very, very basic...they are for those that just want to throw something on without worring about getting the most out of their engine and want to have a somewhat modern EFI

A Carburetor needs LESS tuning than that system!

I used it on a 220HP TI Turbo engine and it SUCKED! CB sells good stuff, but that FI system isn't so hot. The brain is from a Geo and has to be sent back to CB to be remapped if engine specs change..
