Do they still use balsa composite floorboard panels for the Vette? I know they did for the C6, not so sure about the C7.

I have used a mixture of fiberglass cloth and JB weld to fix a cremains processor...

In the interest of self preservation,
Park It.
If the floor is in that condition,there is
a high probability of corrosion elsewhere
where it matters.
Careening at speed into a oncoming vehicle
or pedestrian would change your world.
Besides,it may look better on jackstands
although not necessarily safer.

Here's the plan...

Tomorrow I'm going to have the mechanics look at it to see if they might be able to do an easy welding fix, but I doubt it. I'm going to stick something under there to help hold the seat up until the weekend when I can put some work into it.
