I have a '73 with early 911 rear hubs. I need the parking brake backing plates and shoe assemblies in order to add parking brake capability.

Look in to PMB Performance and just get new 914-6 calipers for you rear brakes. This set up is plug and play. The 911 set up is now dated by comparison and adds extra weight to the rear end.

I was kinda hoping to not have to spend $800 to add a parking brake.
