I have been referred to Just Dashes to restore my cracked dash.

Has anyone used them before or have any comments on this recommendation?

Thanks,
Hal

I have not, but will be interested to hear what you learn. My dash is a cracked mess, and the last thing to address in the interior..

Dash has been removed and sent to Just Dashes. Waiting to hear back from them.

Will keep you posted, but I am excited to have a perfect new dash with NO CRACKS!

I used Just Dashes and was very happy with the result. I had the dash done as well as the A pillars, the Targa bar and the piece that goes across the front of the windshield at the top. They also resprayed the pieces that are where the seat belt bolts to the targa and the knee pad.

Refurbished dash is now in transit. Very excited to see it installed.

Renovated seats (new foam, new seat covers) already installed.

Will post pics once the dash is in

I would have sent my 911 dash to them had I kept the car. Replacement 911 dashes were unobtainium.

i know YMMV depending on condtion, but what is the cost? as I am about to do a windshield change, so I would like a ballpark figure or just stay with my dashcap

I just dropped off my upper and lower dash and it is just under $1100 for both. They told me they not only recover, but replace most of the foam. He showed me an almost complete 914 upper dash and it was impressive. Looked brand new. Wish I had taken some pictures for you guys, but my guess is halmil will post some soon. Lead time is ~10 weeks, so i'm expecting mine about June.

Having the ashtray delete option is a big plus.
Why it was put there in the first place is a mystery,a less costly method should have been considered at the design stage,in '67.

I know next to nothing about vinyl reupholstery, but what they're doing looks logical and professional. WAY better than those stupid vinyl repair kits you get at the FLAPS. Good stuff! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

This is what you'll get back from Just Dashes. Ashtray delete really cleans up the look and makes the dashboard look much wider. They did a great job on my interior. I would recommend them without reservation. A bit costly and the timeframe is a bit long, but well worth it, in my opinion.
