Well, I decided to take my teener out since I've got some braking power, just to show it to one of the kids that works at the FLAPS. As I was showing it off to the guy in the shop, another guy came up to me... a former 914 owner... and former 911 owner. He couldn't stop talking about his 914, and how much he missed it since he got rid of it. Said he had to, because of smog laws. Couldn't pass smog with all his "additions" s'llo he had to "dump" it for less than $3k after spending close to $30k in modifications.
Rreally nice guy. AMazing the stories he had to tell about hes 914... you could tell he's missing it a bunch. As we parted, I told him about the club... maybe he'll log in and check out the scene once again. He did mention he's loking for a 2.0 engine... |
