I have a bunch of distributors and can check for a good vacuum pot. May not have an exact match but the amount of advance does not vary that much.

Where did you get that part # from?

Distributors for 1.7L should be 022905205 'x'

If your dizzy is: #022905205A, the vacuum unit is #022905271A (two port)

If your dizzy is: #022905205H, the vacuum unit is #022905271B (single port)

If your dizzy is: #022905205P, the vacuum unit is #022905271C (two port)

0231 174 007 comes back as an ignition coil (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

With a 0231 prefix, I wonder if it's a bus motor, or dizzy?

According to AA, 'Q' has been discontinued and the replacement is #022905205P

The only other info I found on the 'Q' dizzy was all in Russian.

According to the 914 PET catalog, the correct vacuum unit is #022905271C (two port)

Do you have an advance and a retard hose on your car?

It takes several weeks to arrive from Cyprus. Same guy has been selling these for years. Must have a pile of NOS parts.
