I know the late style Bilstien jack has green button and depending on the model year the handle was either flat to side of the jack or it had a slight curve to it. I have jack from a one owner 72 that has sat since 1982 in his barn.

This jack has a yellow button with arrows that say UP Down and a red band at the top. Also the handle is longer and is not flush to the side of the jack. So my question is this a standard "72" jack or a VW jack or???? Never seen one before with the yellow button. It does have a VW stamp on the top along with Bilstien and made in Germany.

My 72 came with an early style racket style jack.
It also had early front hubs, brakes, struts etc
