I'm replacing my windshield. The trough where it lays needs to be repainted. Should I use laquer or enamel? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) What is the original paint type. Thanks, guys and gals, Gary

No one really uses lacquer anymore. Try a good acrylic 2 part emamel. I used it in my engine bay. It dries to a very nice gloss.
