Besides sticking a 12V DC to USB 5.0-5.5V charger into your cigarette lighter, anybody here have some custom installs for charging their phones?

I was thinking of coming up with something a little more "integrated" vs a cable dangling from an adapter hanging from the cig lighter.

No photos but I have a power inverter installed under the dash on the passenger side. We run the lap top and charge phones.

Not sure if this meets your definition of "integrated" but this is the route I went. It was a simple and effective solution for me.

I didn't want to bastardize my dash in any way, so I installed an aux 12V power outlet tie-strapped to the glove box strap:

Have you thought about a car stereo with a serial port in the face plate? I have one in my van; I can listen to music on my iPhone and charge it all through the same cableā€¦
