I just saw that too. Not many parts left to make it worth anything.

The color right (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) ? TERRIBLE! Those stripes don't even line up right for some reason. And if you're gonna do a color change to something like copper metallic GET IT MATCHED CORRECTLY.
Seriously if you get an engine and trans too there ARE $200 worth of parts there...It'd be really hard to move though. Be cool if you could just show up and pick it over and leave the carcass. |

Quick, snap it up before George does--because it'll be a "rare racing version" when he sells it... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I say $200 is a good deal. I bought one almost as folded as that and felt i got my money's worth in the motor and side shift trans alone. Then I kept as many quirky parts as I could. The body corners of the rear quarters are very nice to have around when you discover somebody sculpted yours (east coast car) out of Bondo. Also windshields, door glass, steering columns, spindles, calipers yadda yadda are just plain nice to have when you realize you need them--or you can help another owner too.
My friend kept the targa hoop for use on a sevenesque roadster he was building (Rover V8 powered, no less). |
