I am the proud owner of an A/C car (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif), and am working to undo the hack job done many years ago. I have picked up replacement tin over time, but never having seen a complete unmolested set, I'm not sure what I've got is correct. The tin that goes in the front of the motor, on the right side sorta flips up at the end on both of the replacements that I've acquired. Is this right? Looking at the shelf in the car, it looks like this should follow the nice smooth curve from left to right and so should turn down somewhat, but if I were to try to make this conform, it would definitely kink the tin at the front lip where it bends over and down. Both pieces that I've got are the same. Can anyone offer any advice?

I too have one that is bent like that, but the others I have are straight. It'll be clearer when you mount it to the block.
