I got the engine out and tranny off the engine. I have a lift but not sure where I should pick this thing up from. Also so I need to pull the flywheel to mount on engine stand? Kinda confused

intake runners work.
What type of engine stand are you using?
Why are you putting it on the stand?

Some allow for the flyhweel, and some engine work can be done with it in place.
Other fixtures require the flywheel to be removed if they are not designed for porsche motors specifically.

Also, to split the case, there are bolts behind the flywheel, and seals, etc etc.

You should remove the flywheel with it on the ground.
Attach the engine stand yoke to the engine with it on the ground.
Then two people can pick up the engine with 1 hand on the yoke and one on the engine mount bar.
Slide the yoke into the stand.
