Those are those washers that get too close to the 6 cylinder fan blades and get ground off by the spinning fan. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Nope, those washers are still down in the cylinder fins somewhere. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif)

Engine stud that holds on the starter ?
You need the special 911 barrel nut to make it easy. |

Yep!
The FOUR uses a bolt that goes through the starter hole. The starter has a notch that holds the bolt from turning while you tighten/loosen the nut. 911, has engine studs. These washers will allow me to place a plain washer over the stud and tighten down a nut without any issues (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Me and my grinder (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mueba.gif) KT Attached image(s) |

.....but, when I had the 3.6 attached to a 901 tranny for about six months, I solved that little problem with an angle grinder. |

I hope the bolt will push through more or you will barely catch one thread on the nut.

The pic is just for show and tell. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
When the 911 engine stud pushes through, there is room for both cut washers, a regular washer, the nut and there is still room to hang my hat. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool_shades.gif) KT I guess the next game will have to be a little harder. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif) |
