That funny, just like Sean and Rick I found my first house on a drive by. Was up for auction but never advertised. Nice little fixer upper.... kept it for four years...made 35K on it. Bought the lot that my new house is on. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

Hay Miles! Good luck with the house hunting. I bought one last summer, and it's a lot of work, but rewarding (sometimes anyway). What about that Toureg? Are you the owner of two VWs now?

In '94 the Anzieger didn't have the fancy font. Not a bad rag at the time, good editor and good composition and format considering the money ORPCA put into it (not the cash cow like today). The cover photo was the one above with a white banner ANZIEGER above and a similar one below. Like you, my head got all swollen and I got a buncha copies. The framed one is in a box somewhere. I still have a loose copy of that month too (it was the 20th Anniversary of the 914). The rest were given away and probably recycled by relatives too polite to tell me that they didn't really give a rat's ass. It's cool though to see your car in a magazine. I'll betcha that every one who owns a car or a bike that has been featured, even if only in a local blurb, has lots of copies...some framed.

Towrigs are too much money for me... I can't pull that trigger... yeesh. I need a truck thing though..

Uhhm... when the prices of property have risen to these dumb levels, exactly how do you make them wise up? I want one of these places out by the shop, but they are all speculators, to the nth degree, people who have seen the city moving toward them for years, and asking 2-3 times the actual values.

The kind of people I am talking about will either sell to me, or end up leaving the property to their next of kin... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) ya know?

I am considering burning them out... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/happy11.gif) or just showing up with all my stuff, and acting like a relative. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

Let the air out of two of their tires....that way their house will lean to one side, and all of their Elvis figurines will fall off their shelves. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

Oh, whatever....I really just wanted to see my avatar (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wub.gif)

happy hunting Miles!
