I'd just like to add, the last Tahoe shirt, and the Monterey shirt were very close in overall design. It would be nice to have something more original for this one

Ken Schipper has designed several of the WCR t-shirts and that is why the design is similar. It's kind of the WCR iconic design. There are other graphic designers here if people don't want that again.

I don't care that much about the design of the shirt. I just want a good quality one. We've had some that have kind of been on the cheap. I'd rather pay more for a nice shirt that will last.

Agree quality shirts are a plus, Monterey shirts were good.

Sounds like we have a location-Tahoe, and a date?
Do we have someone to deal with T-shirts?

Since no one has offered I guess I'll handle t-shirts, so do we want to include them in the registration price, or offer them seperatly so any one can purchase?

Thought if we offer them separate so everyone could order we could build in a small profit to help offset the dinner or BBQ cost then offer a lower registration fee?

Thoughts?

We usually do both...include one shirt with registration, and they can buy additional t-shirts if they want.

We have a couple extra hundred dollars to use that has built up over years past. I'll have to look to see how much. If it's going to be in Tahoe, we should buy a couple space heaters like we rented last time for the parking lot. The rental fee was 60% of what it would cost to buy the damn things at Costco!

Called and finally got Ken, He apoligized, said he would try to have a design emailed tomorrow.

I'm going to check on costs from a local place tomorrow, figured I could use the 2010 design to show them so I can get some cost figures, I have one quote already, we'll see what this place comes up with.

OK, Ken has not responded again, no design. I'm done dealing with him, time is running out. Im no graphic artist, but I found some images online and put this together last night. I'm sure a print shop will be able to clean it up and merge the images better, but do you like the idea...should I pursue it, or does someone else want to try to deal with Ken, or a different design.

Classic awards in Natomas did the last Tahoe and the Monterey shirts. They know me. Call them. They can probably use the last design, change the year to 2014 and make it "Teeners at Tahoe II"

Or, you could try Ken again...

Oh I went by classic awards Thursday since I was in the area.....they're gone.
Seems the merged with another company downtown, another day.

In case you need a reliable printer, but not the cheapest, Jakprints.com. They did my Original Customs shirt and the first run of 914World sweatshirts.

Got the design files from Ken, This is what the back will look like, except the Teeners at Tahoe will read Teeners at Tahoe II. Should have the update and the front logo file soon. Any preference for shirt color, or just white? Will have prices by Tuesday.

Classic awards is downtown now, stopped in on my way to loomis today, talked to Barbara, she remembered us, gave us the same price as Monterey, ends up with setup, shirts, and tax right at $10 per shirt.
