Question for the dis-organizers. When do the activities start on Thu May 15? When is the barbecue? I live in Reno and will commute back and forth... and I am registered for the event.

Typically the BBQ just starts when there are enough people there hungry. I'd say somewhere about 6:30 or so. Don't expect anything to special with the bbq. Pretty basic burgers & dogs unless you bring something special you want to grill. This is just us doing it in the parking lot. Very low key, basic & relaxed deal. The thursday night deal plenty of people miss. Wether they get in late or arrive friday morning for the real festivities (IMG:style_emoticons/default/evilgrin.gif)

It's fine. Mid seventies for highs, mid forties for lows. Sunshine.

It snowed at Incline Village the other day! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Just went to Tahoe for the weekend... the roads were clear and (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) was nice. The weather was not bad except for the light dusting of snow Saturday evening, it was over with real quick. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I'm ready to go back.

Follow up question.

I work Thursday and Friday, but I'll show up Saturday.

Where and when is the "group photo"? I can't find a time or place for these gatherings.

I'll be driving a Guards Red Boxster, and photographing/writing about the event for the Stoddard blog, and for FlatSixes.com, so if you have something interesting to say, say it to me! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'll only be around for Saturday, won't be staying in the hotel, and won't be eating any of the food. If I don't need a t-shirt, will I still need to register?

Thanks,

Brad

Brad,
I'll let the main disorganizers answer the registration question but if you want, you can car pool up Mt. Rose Hwy with me on Saturday morning. Does Stoddard have a location here in Reno/Sparks?

Everything starts at 9:14am each day (duh)...past that, it's hard to say the group photo portion will start at exactly x:xx time since events could go long, short plus getting 914 owners all together for a photo is like herding cats!

It looks like I'll be driving this... Original Customs is trying to get 4 cars ready for this event so hopefully McMark can walk and talk after this marathon wrench week!

Brad,
You don't need to register, just show up. The group photo location won't get decided on until I get there Thursday and find one. We will all meet in the hotel parking lot Saturday morning, then at 9:14 we will caravan to the location, do our group photo and spit n shine car show, then off on our around the lake drive.

Jeff

Rob, Marks only got three cars now, mines done and back home...ready to go.....unless theres another one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Fantastic. I'll see you just before 9:14 in the parking lot of the host hotel, then.

If anyone has a breakdown, I'll be able to drive them back, as I'll have the reliable car... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hide.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/newhere.gif)

We're just across from the airport. It's just an office though, no warehouse.

You're more than welcome to come in for coffee and car talk, though.

Anybody know how many cars will be at the WCR this year? How many have registered? I'm leaving early Thursday morning. Up at 6 out by 7. Yeah right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)
