I recently finished Half Life 2. It's only the 3rd game I've ever finished...Halo, Halo 2 and now Half Life 2. I'm gonna play Halflife: Source next (so the 2nd one may make more sense).
It really was an awesome looking and functioning game.

We can discuss the end if anyone wants to.

bought the collectors edition and played through in one long weekend!
judging from the ending, i'd say it's a safe bet that there will be a HL3! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif)

thumbs up, great game!

PS: the only thing that is *really* annoying is that the physics in the game are different depending if you play alone or multiplayer.
that is very irretating, as you can't do a lot of things in multiplayer that you can do in stand-alone play ...

Finished. I'm awaiting HL3, and hope it won't be another 6 years. They left way too many dangling plot points to make anyone wait that long.

I still preferred Far Cry as a game. HL2 was too linear.

I don't know how close I am to "finished" i'm driving around in a dune-buggy, killing "starship-troopers" bugs and shooting down gunships... but I have played a TON of the FPS games... it's always been my favorite Genre...
and HL2 kicks everythings ass I have played... I still need to play FarCry and Halo though... and the chronicles of riddick game is supposed to be great as well!

Sean, HL1 was ok, not as great as the hype in my book... too slow starting...

the hardest part, for me, was "Entanglement" in the jail room. I tried and tried and tried to figure it out...had to ask for help (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

The ending was a little easy IMHO.

Half-Life 2 was great, but too short lived.

I'm looking for a 12-frame comic that depicted HL2 in it's entirety. Almost exactly.
